This is based of of a song entitled "Carnage", by White Buffalo. It tells of destruction and the plight of people just who hold it together in a time of fear and the unknown. I worked on this one of the longest times on a single painting. Look closely at the hysteria and confusion and be glad you are not there. There are hidden images in this painting, but most importantly is the feeling of destruction and isolation it produces. If we do not as citizens of the world take control from the polluters, capitalist slugs, and blood-sucking technocrati, this may become a reality. What will be the cause of all this pain? It is created with acrylic, Shellac, wood stain, among other randomly chosen media to invoke a sense of confusion, distortion and frustration.
