Sometimes the best finds are found deep in somewhere. Deep in the jungle, deep up river, deep under water, deep in the mist...you get the idea. I wanted this piece to be a cross between what you might see before you go looking and then what you may find when you look. I numbered the found items on the painting as though they were a catalog in some researchers journal. I attempted to show tropical western Africa with the blue water, jungle and the rain storm.
